You don't hear munch about pieneering these days, in fact not much about pioneering either.

Born in Open Mouth, Kansas, one of nintynine children born to Blanch Dressing and Grabby Ala Mode who were of creamy
descent. Abner weighed in excess of 75 lbs at birth and as both parents had slim builds this resulted in his father not believing the child was his own offspring. This disbelief led him to name the child after a politician whom he despised, Republican senator Abner Butthole Johnson. The birth was traumatic for Blanch and resulted in chronic health problems which mysteriously vanished 18 years later.
